Central Iowa Model A Club

2008 GAMARAI Information

Nearly five million Model A Fords were built in just four years, from 1928 to 1931.  The Central Iowa Model A Club was founded by Bob Darr in 1961.  We are dedicated to the restoration and driving of our Ford Model A's and our membership is now over 150 families.  Don't worry, you don't have to own a Model A to be a member.

Each month you will receive a club newsletter which includes information about swap meets, items for sale and upcoming events.  There are usually events every month.  One of our most well known events is GAMARAI (Great Annual Model A Ride Around Iowa).  This trip is a multi day tour around the state of Iowa.

Every 6 years, our club hosts a regional meet where Model A enthusiasts from around the Midwest come to central Iowa.  In 2004, we had over 250 Model A's participate from 8 states!

Our Club is a member of the two national clubs, MAFCA (Model A Ford Club of America) and MARC (Model A Restorers Club).  Each club publishes a semi-monthly magazine.  We encourage you to join.
